Paul joined Tidalex in early 2021 and is currently the Chief Technology Officer.

From the first time Paul came into contact with computers, he was destined for this role and he quickly became fascinated by hardware, networks and cryptography. After graduating from the University of Computer Science of Genoa in 2008, he started working as a researcher for a military project, focusing on high availability, self-healing networks and cryptography. During this position, Paul perfected his knowledge of distributed systems and experimented extensively with cryptography.

Over the next few years, Paul mastered several different programming languages and developed a real passion for distributed systems, high performance computing, and cloud platforms.

Paul was interested in finance and started developing finance-related applications in 2010. He founded Fincluster and served as CTO at the end of 2013. With the support of two rounds of financing, Fincluster provides an advanced, modern and easy-to-access web platform with customized functions for different customers. Fincluster has developed a comprehensive cloud-based financial application for consultants, fund managers and institutions, and serves many small and medium-sized companies in London, Milan and Lugano.

Paul eventually joined Tidalex in 2021 as a senior software developer responsible for trading engine development, platform scalability and high availability. In the second half of 2021, Paul transitioned to the role of Chief Technology Officer.

As Tidalex's CTO, Paul's responsibilities include managing the development team, evaluating new technologies, and designing and developing the Tidalex backend platform. In addition to this, Paul also serves as Tidalex's Lead Backend Developer.
